FarmerBuddy is the Local Agriculture Network. We help people source from local farms, and we help farmers get their products sold.

Local produce, meat, eggs and dairy, and other farm products — plus the farms, markets, stands and suppliers behind them. You can also find transportation providers, farm services and equipment suppliers.

Nothing to browse. Nothing for farmers to list. If a paid option is ever added, it will be explained clearly and separately, and the basic farm listing will stay free.

No. FarmerBuddy helps you find farms and suppliers. You buy directly from them.

You pay the farm or supplier directly, however the two of you agree. FarmerBuddy does not process payments and does not take a cut.

Coverage is growing region by region. Search will show you what exists near you when it opens.

Yes. Creating or claiming a farm profile is free, and it stays free. No listing fee, no commission, no contract, no exclusivity. See what a listing gives you.

Some listings are built from public sources so buyers can find farms that have not joined yet. You can claim yours, correct it, or ask for it to be removed.

No. A listing built from public information is a starting point, not a claim that your farm participates or endorses anything. Claimed profiles are labelled differently from unclaimed ones.

We cannot promise that. A profile helps buyers find you. Whether that turns into an inquiry or an order is between you and the buyer.

No. Keep your markets, your stand, your wholesale accounts and your regulars. FarmerBuddy is one more way for the next buyer to reach you.

Not the public. Your products and the places you sell are public. Your personal phone, email, home address and private notes are not, unless you choose to publish them.

Both. Some farms sell a dozen eggs and some sell by the pallet. Many do both. If you are buying for a business, you can search by quantity and timing.

You confirm with the seller. Seasonal timing tells you what is likely to be around; it never tells you what is in a cooler this morning.

In season means the product is typically harvested in your region around now. Available means a seller has confirmed they currently have it. They are not the same, and we keep them visibly separate.

Sometimes. It depends on the seller, the product, the destination and their capacity. Some farms deliver, some use a hub, some are pickup only. The listing will say.

That is a core use case. You will be able to search by quantity and timing, and describe a recurring need when what is visible is not a fit. Kitchens in particular rely on this.

Not in the way that word usually implies. We show whether a profile is claimed by its owner and whether specific details have been checked. We do not certify a business, and a listing is never an endorsement.

Personal contact details, home addresses, exact farm access points, private notes and message contents. Those are never public without permission.

Either the business itself, or public sources. Which one is always labelled, so you know what you are looking at.

Availability, delivery, price, buyer demand, sales, or fulfillment. Those belong to the people doing the actual business, and we will not claim otherwise.
